Concrete jungle where dreams are made Joe?

I’m the co-founder of Gradulthood. Where the name originated from is still a slightly murky topic of conversation. Intellectual property is a tricky one. What I will say is: John Lennon wasn’t the first person to write the word ‘imagine’, but he was the one who wrote the song.

My last prologue noted that I was looking forward to ‘sampling the life of a copywriter’, courtesy of two weeks work experience. Well, almost six months later, I’m still here.

The Graduate on Gradulthood

To highlight experiences of gradulthood, to help bolster our CVs, and to hopefully write something entertaining along the way, Joe and I created a blog.

There are other blogs out there with similar themes and ideas (although admittedly, few have such a good name...), but as far as I'm aware, there aren't that many videos of James Livingston being interviewed by, well, himself, on the subject of gradulthood. In fact, I'm pretty sure there are only 2.

Amazon is a reassuring online marketplace. When, during a routine browse one becomes distracted, wanders into an unknown URL and stumbles across a product that catches the eye, it’s standard procedure at Gradulthood HQ Manchester to pop it into to Amazon and check the going rate. Then, after its been cleared by the thrift department, a safe and hassle free purchase can be made. 3-5 working days later and everyone can sit down with a cup of tea at your doorstep, as life in the 21st Century is bliss.
